Course Description

This 4-day UAPL course is specifically designed to prepare participants for the UAPL practical assessment required to obtain the Class A (Rotorcraft) UAPL limited to multi-rotor up to 25kg.
This course is suitable for aspiring UA pilots seeking to obtain Class A (Rotorcraft) UAPL limited to multi-rotor up to 25kg, this UAPL course is ideal for those who prefer to focus solely on practical training without the need for UAPL theory lessons.

Course Contents

The 4-days practical training comprises of the following 10 modules below

Module Topic
1 UAS assembly and pre-flight inspection
2 General knowledge of UAS functions
3 Take-off and precision hovering
4 Level square circuit with nose-out orientation
5 Level square with changing orientation
6 Ascending/Descending square circuit with changing orientation
7 Figure of ‘8’ Circuit
8 Precision landing
9 Mission planning and execution
10 UAS post-flight inspection

The following are required on the practical assessment date:

  • Original photo identification (i.e. original NRIC/FIN/Passport)
  • Original UAPL (If Any)

Failure to produce any of the above documents on your practical assessment date will not be entertained and will be re-scheduled.

Individual Sponsored Trainee

  • Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
  • From 1 October 2023, attendance-taking for SkillsFuture Singapore’s (SSG) funded courses must be done digitally via the Singpass App. This applies to both physical and synchronous e-learning courses
  • Trainee must achieve at least 75% attendance
  • Trainee must pass all prescribed tests / assessments, and attain 100% competency
  • Apollo Global Academy reserves the right to claw back the funded amount from trainee if he/she did not meet the eligibility criteria

Company Sponsored Trainee

  • Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents

SkillsFuture Credit: 

  • Eligible Singapore Citizens can use their SkillsFuture Credit to offset course fee payable after funding.

Company Sponsored Trainee

Absentee Payroll (AP) Funding:

  • $4.50 per hour, capped at $100,000 per enterprise per calendar year.
  • AP funding will be computed based on the actual number of training hours attended by the trainee.
  • Note: Courses / Modules under Professional Conversion Programme (PCP) will not be eligible for AP funding claim.
