- Comprehensive understanding of remote surveillance principles, techniques, and technologies, including various surveillance systems and their applications.
- Practical skills in operating and managing surveillance equipment, encompassing setup, calibration, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in monitoring surveillance feeds, interpreting data, and accurately analyzing situations to identify security threats and take appropriate action.

- LU1: Perform operational checks and troubleshooting on remote security surveillance equipment in accordance to organisational procedure
- LU2: Identify areas prone to security incidents
- LU3: Interpret behaviour to identify potential security incidents
- LU4: Monitor and respond to security incidents
Learning Outcomes
- Operate the surveillance equipment for remote surveillance in accordance to organisational procedure
- Perform basic troubleshooting of the surveillance equipment
- Identify abnormal behaviours through the augmented video analytics technology
- Analyse behaviours that can lead to security incidents.
- Report security incidents to relevant stakeholders through technology.
- Complete relevant documentation relating to CCTV operations.
Mode of Learning
Primary mode of learning for this course is Face-to-Face Classroom session. This will be supplemented with interactive role play sessions which serves to connect newly-learned knowledge and skills with the realities of the workplace and jobs.
