The WSQ system, developed by Skills Future Singapore, is designed to provide skills training and certification across various industries to enhance employability and career progression.
  • The Hikvision Security Associate (HSA) – VMS certification can enhance a professional’s credibility in the security industry. It provides recognition of their expertise with Hikvision products and can improve career prospects. This certification is a stepping stone for those looking to deepen their knowledge and advance to more specialized Hikvision certifications, such as the Hikvision Certified Security Professional (HCSP) or Hikvision Certified Security Expert (HCSE).

  1. Introduction to VMS:
    • The certification introduces the basics of Video Management Systems, explaining their role in collecting, managing, and analyzing video data from security cameras.
    • Hikvision’s proprietary VMS, such as HikCentral, is typically highlighted, but general VMS concepts applicable to various systems are also covered.

  2. Core Functions of VMS:
    • Device Management: Learn how VMS integrates with and manages multiple cameras, NVRs, and other devices, ensuring seamless operation and communication within the network.

  • Report abnormal behaviours remotely using surveillance systems
  • Report details of situations to appropriate authorities using surveillance systems
  • Escalate situations to enforcement teams to carry out appropriate actions
  • Complete relevant documentation relating to remote surveillance operations

UTAP Funding:

Absentee Payroll (AP) Funding:

  • $4.50 per hour, capped at $100,000 per enterprise per calendar year
  • AP funding will be computed based on the actual number of training hours attended by the trainee

Note: Courses/Modules under Professional Conversion Programme (PCP) will not be eligible for AP funding claim
